The first time ever I saw your face...

It is already eight days since you decided to join us in the outside world little Reuben Ezra, and already you have experienced a multitude of "firsts". 

First moments with Mummy, skin to skin.

First cuddle with Daddy 

First feed. And Reuben, you were a pro my darling.

First picture with us both.

First glimpse of the voice you've been hearing so much of for so many months: your big brother, Noah! 

 

First nappy change.

First cuddle with Mummy upright after lots of help and medicine!

First bath. 

First time in the car seat ready to go home at last.

This wasn't a first really but I utterly love the joy on Noah's face.

Our first photo as a family of four. Noah couldn't be more proud and neither could we. You were 36 hours old in this picture, Reuben and already we had all fallen head over heels for you.

Bring on the milestones. But not too fast, please!
