In this fortnight following Easter, 'She Reads Truth' are looking at the period between the resurrection and the ascension. I'm only just catching up on the studies now as and when a certain munchkin gives me space to but today I've found this section powerful. It's based on John 20:11-18.
"Mary was seeking her Lord. She sought Him when He was living, and she sought Him after He died. She sought Him relentlessly, even through the pain and confusion of a freshly broken heart. She did not understand the “why” of what was happening, but she understood this: She needed to find Jesus.
And He spoke her name.
He saw her, He knew her.
She called for Him and He called back to her."
